Reading Wicked Knight was quite a surprise for me because I did not expect it to be an emotional and relationship driven read! I just finished reading the first book in her Wicked Horse Vegas series, Wicked Favor and that was just erotic BDSM all the way, with relationship development of course.
Wicked Knight is actually not that! Sure, both Asher and Hannah go to the private BDSM club Wicked Horse Vegas. Yes, there is some kinky sex, but it’s not as much as the first book! I have to say that I am a fan of Wicked Knight because of this! I have since realized that I’m not really a fan of BDSM books, just erotic romance, so this book checked all the boxes for me.
I love the relationship development between Asher and Hannah. Yes, the plot was a bit fast – especially at the start when the first chapter had Asher propositioning Hannah already. However, I loved that there was some emphasis on their budding relationship after that.
There was an emphasis on how Asher treated Hannah’s five-year-old daughter, Hope, and that is something that I really liked. I thought that was really so sweet since the main reason why Hannah agreed to the proposition was to gain custody of her daughter.
Overall, I’m glad I read this book. I may read the rest of the books in the series, but I’m not so sure when!

I know BDSM was one of the popular erotic romance sub-genres.
Do you like reading BDSM romance? If you do, what book can you recommend that I should read?
