Last month’s deets on I Heart Romance & YA
Happy new month, everyone! I have been MIA in the last month both here on my blog and on YouTube (which is so bad since I only have 2 videos uploaded). So, I have not been in the blogging, editing, or reading mood, until the last few days this month. I guess there this is one of those months that I just wanted to be a hermit and not interact with anybody on the net. And of course, stuff that I do not want to discuss online. But you get the picture.
But hey, this is totally okay! I’m not stressed out about not being online or anything, but I felt that this was a great way to step away for a while and post sporadically.
The good news is that I read a number of contemporary romances and I am IN LOVE! Apparently, this is the year of reading out of my comfort zone. And I am one happy bookworm!

Did you ever have one of those months where you didn’t even want to interact with anyone? What did you do?

Contemporary romances are my favorite books to read. When I was asked to join my blog, I tried to read different genres, because I was the only one with time to blog, but now I am back to mostly contemporaries.

I am starting to read out of my comfort zone, which is good but I still tend to go back to my favorite, genres 🙂 I guess it depends on my mood..
I love that you’re participating in so many challenges! I hope you can achieve all your goals at the end of the year. I’m highly anticipating Tower of Dawn and Warcross too! I was not really a fan of Stalking Jack the Ripper, so I don’t think I’ll be reading its sequel at all. Great post! Have a good month!
Tower of Dawn and Warcross are my highly anticipated YA reads! 🙂
I was weirdly fascinated with Stalking Jack the Ripper, actually.
I never have full on months where I don’t want to interact with others but I do have those days where I’d rather just hide. I think it is a okay to be a hermit once in a while, especially when other people suck away at your energy level. Looks like you had a great reading month. I read Stalking Jack the Ripper but I wasn’t so taken with it but I’m still interested in the sequel, because of the title. I must read with Dracula, haha.

I know! I actually loved the gore and gothic-ness of Stalking Jack the Ripper 🙂
Sorry you haven’t felt like interacting much, but I’m glad you’re taking some time for you. And I think it’s great that reading out of your comfort zone has been so positive for you!

Thanks, Nicole! I’ll try my best to get back to my old self!
I have a copy of “Hunting Prince Dracula.” I’m looking forward to reading it!
Oh, lucky you! 🙂
I am currently reading Warcross (I received an ARC just before release date) and am a third way through. So far, I’m enjoying this POV character very much. I’m reading scifi this month and finding out that I really like it. I hope your September is going well–mine is going too fast.
Thanks Danielle! I’m getting the audiobook version of Warcross… 🙂
