Happy Tuesday, Wormies! Today, I will be listing a few books on my spring TBR! I’m pretty sure that I won’t be able to read all of them during the season but I hope that I will!
I decided to divide it again by the main genres that I read. These books may not be the only books that I read for spring, but I will do my very best to read them!
Oh, and by the way, the images are linked to Goodreads because I am not lazy today! 🙂
The Day of the Duchess by Sarah MacLean (June 27, 2017)
I am super excited to read Day of the Duchess because it is a second-chance romance! I absolutely love this trope and I am excited to find out what happened to Seraphina and Malcom’s and how Malcom broke Sera’s heart.
The Pleasures of Passion by Sabrina Jeffries (June 20, 2017)
Ah, another second-chance romance! Eeeekkk I think the romance gods have answered my prayers! I am super excited to read The Pleasures of Passion because it features espionage and of course, romance!
The Girl with the Make-Believe Husband by Julia Quinn (May 30, 2017)
I am absolutely intrigued by The Girl with the Make-Believe Husband. The blurb describes it pretty much like a While You Were Sleeping trope. Edward Rokesby is injured during the war and Cecili Hartcourt pretends to be his wife so she can stay with him.
An Affair with a Notorious Heiress by Lorraine Heath (May 30, 2017)
Ah, Sterling and Frannie’s son Alistair finally gets his HEA! Also, this sounds like another kick-ass female who defies the norm despite her reputation being ruined years ago. Of course, she captures Alistair’s eye.
From Duke Till Dawn by Eva Leigh (May 30, 2017)
From Duke Till Dawn sounds absolutely scandalous! This features a female con-artist who managed to hoodwink a Duke! Oh, and he discovers her years later managing a gambling den!
Flame in the Mist by Renee Ahdieh (May 16, 2017)
So, I haven’t read a book by Renee Ahdieh before (I know I really need to!) but I am really intrigued by Flame in the Mist. This has a Mulan feel to it with our heroine dressing as a boy! The blurb does mention two male names so I fervently hope that this isn’t a love triangle!
Defy the Stars by Claudia Gray (April 4, 2017)
After reading the Firebird Trilogy by Claudia Gray, I immediate added Defy the Stars to my TBR. This one sounds like another space opera! Eeek super excited!
The Bone Witch by Sin Chupeco (March 7, 2017)
The Bone Witch has a very interesting premise and I am excited to read it. I know it’s already out now so I should be reading this soon. Also this is a diverse read and is written by a Filipina!
Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor (March 28, 2017)
Laini Taylor has a way with world building and Strange the Dreamer sounds like it will be as awesome as Daughter of Smoke and Bone.
Crown of Wishes by Roshani Chokshi (March 28, 2017)
I was blown away by The Star-Touched Queen and I am absolutely excoted to read Crown of Wishes, Gauri’s story!
What books are you planing to read this spring? Have you read any of the books listed above? PLEASE TELL ME which one should be placed at the very top of my TBR!
Ooh, The Bone Witch sounds like a good book! I think I’m going to add it to my TBR pile as well.
I also liked how you divided your list by genre. That was a smart decision.

Thanks, Astilbe! 🙂
I have Strange the Dreamer on my Wishlist/TBR list too! I don’t own that one but I would like to eventually pick it up. I read The Bone Witch and enjoyed it. I thought it was a little slower with a little less action than I was expecting, but I still really enjoyed it and can’t wait for the next one in the series.
