I have been waiting for Wires and Nerve since I found out about this last year! I was dragging my feet, though and only read it this month! Why did I ever drag my feet?! I guess I was scared? Maybe? If you have been dragging your feet like me, stop and pick up Wires and Nerve because it is amazing!
Wires and Nerve is Iko’s story! Finally, she is the heroine! If you haven’t read The Lunar Chronicles series and Stars Above, please do so now! There are easter eggs for the last novella in Stars Above here. Also, Wires and Nerve happens after Winter and before Something Old, Something New, the last novella in Stars Above.
This book is really filled with all the feels and nostalgia! I love revisiting the world and of course, my favorite characters! I mean, I absolutely love Thorne and he is in a good chunk of this book! YES!
We also get to meet new characters! There is a new villain, who is one of the hybrid wolf Lunars and I am intrigued,
Overall this was such a fun and quick read!

I finally caved and bought the coloring book! This book is filled with awesome art from The Lunar Chronicles series including each character! I colored most of the girls first, too!
What I love about this coloring book is that you only color one side. The other side are excerpts from the book and new content! Which also helps because I use markers to color and they bleed through the pages.
Here are the five gals! My absolute favorite is Cress and she was also the first one that I colored.
I’m not done with Iko and Winter yet, but I couldn’t resist sharing the images.
Overall, The Lunar Chronicles Coloring Book is amazing. I probably won’t color the scenes because I suck at that but the characters are amazing! Can’t wait to color Thorne, Kai, Wolf, and Levana!
Have you read The Lunar Chronicles series yet?
Who is your favorite character from the series?
Yay! Glad you loved Wires and Nerve! I just got it from the library, super excited to read it. I’m happy there’s more Lunar Chronicles (:

ME TOO! OMG! I can’t even!! I love that there is more TLC!!!! <3 <3 <3
I have both of these (the coloring book and graphic novel) but I haven’t opened either. *cries* I’m not really into the Lunar Chronicles? I liked Cinder years ago but never finished the series. I do love the coloring book though – I have big plans for it after I graduate in May. 😀 Perhaps I’ll binge-read the Lunar Chronicles in the future… I do want to see what all the fuss is about, especially with a certain captain? *clueless Alyssa is clueless*
Wonderful post, Zeee!
