The Royal Brotherhood series is the very first series that I read by Sabrina Jeffries. I remember picking up I the Prince’s Bed in my local bookstore, read the blurb, and bought all 3 books. And what do you know, I absolutely LOVE this series!
Although I LOVE The Hellions of Halstead Hall series the best, this is a VERY CLOSE second! It has been a while since I read these books and I loved delving in and revisiting these characters! On my recent trip home in the Philippines, I brought these books back with me.
This series is about three half-brothers – Prinny’s bastards – and all of them mired in scandal. They decide to work together at the request of the Earl of Iversley and they form a bond.

This is not one of my favorite books in this trilogy. As much as I love the trope, the last quarter felt too rushed for me. I liked Alec and his roguish seductive ways but Katharine was a little frustrating. Which I totally get.
This was also the first book that I read where an M/M relationship is hinted!
Yes, Katharine’s best friend and almost fiance, had the beginnings of an M/M relationship with one of his friends!
I thought it was very forward. When I read this in 2006, LGBTQ+ stories were not mainstream yet.
But I digress. I enjoyed the banter between Alec and Kit. In fact, this is the ONLY saving grace because that last quarter though was just too quick! Gaaaahhh! I felt that there should have been more groveling done!

The second book, To Pleasure the Prince is the BEST one of the bunch! Why? Because it is is a Beauty and the Beast story! Also MARCUS NORTH! He is another broody, swoony hero paired with someone who is totally unlike Disney’s Belle! This book was possibly the first historical romance I read that had a flawed heroine!
See, Lady Regina Tremaine (ha! I see what you did here, Sabrina – Tremaine is Disney’s Cinderella’s stepmother’s last name) has
dyslexia! She is also unable to read and has been hiding her flaws forever!
This is also the reason why she will not marry to the point where she has a reputation.
What I love about To Pleasure the Prince is that Marcus is such an awesome brother and an awesome hero! Not only that, the way he treats Regina and how he made her fall for him. Definitely swoony!

The last book in the series is also good. This is my second favorite in the series! Also, it is a little bit more risque than the other two.
Cristabel, the Marchioness of Haversham, a widow who propositions Gavin Byrne to help her steal very incriminating letters. Gavin is the scandalous non-aristocrat bastard brother who owns a gambling establishment. But the plot thickens! Gavin wants to help Cristabel because 1) he wants her in his bed for real, and 2) he wants to use the letters to get back at the Prince Regent! But things don’t go according to plan because he falls for Cristabel.
The one thing I liked about this book is that the end was very satisfying.

Have you read this series before? Which one is your favorite of the three?
This sounds like a series right up my alley! Going to have to check it out for sure!

This is a pretty good series! You can also try looking into The Hellions of Halstead Hall.
I definitely had a blast with this trilogy, it was so dang good and some of Jeffries best works in my opinion. I honestly think book three I liked slightly more than book two but not by that much they are practically tied in my opinion. But all three are great and the ending in book three is so satisfying. Probably one of my favorite endings to read in romance. I am so happy to see that you loved these books.
