Review Policy

I am not a professional reviewer, so please do not expect a technical review of your book. My review is based on my feelings, impressions, and enjoyment while reading your book. While I understand ARCs are unfinished and sometimes not proofread, I may make comments regarding grammar and formatting if it becomes too distracting while reading your book.

Representation & Diversity

I am a South-East Asian reviewer, born and raised in the Philippines. I am currently residing in Southern California. I welcome review requests from BIPOC authors, most especially books written by Filipino, and Filipino-American authors.

Content Warnings

Content warnings are not a major issue for me however, please indicate any content warnings present in your book. Gratuitous violence and sex are content that I do not care for.

Rating Style

All my reviews use a star rating from half-star to 6 stars, with 6 stars being my favorite books of all time.

I review your book honestly. Please be aware that I review books that I did not finish.

Note: DNF Reviews are on a case-by-case basis depending on how far into the book I read or if I have thoughts on the book.

Heat Level

I categorize my books by heat level as well. You may indicate the heat level of your books, however, I may change it based on my personal heat level rating.

I read books from a wide range of genres, but I am a romance reader (for the most part), so the majority of the books I will consider are romance novels.

I read Adult, New Adult, and Young Adult romance books in the following genres:

• Contemporary Romance
• Dark Romance
• Erotic Romance
• Fantasy
• Historical Romance
• Paranormal Romance
• Romantic Suspense
• Sci-Fi
• Steampunk
• Other genres are by consideration only

• Electronic – via NetGalley or other file-sharing platforms like BookFunnel or ProlificWorks. The format must be compatible with the Kindle Paperwhite.
• Physical books – finished copies or ARCs
• Audiobooks – via Audible, Libro.FM, BookFunnel, or NetGalley. I do not accept audio files anymore since it has been a hassle loading them to my phone.

I typically need about 3 months of lead time prior to publication. I work as a full-time nurse so my reading schedule depends on my work schedule.

I typically post reviews on Thursdays and Fridays. Blog reviews will be shared on Goodreads, The Storygraph, and/or Instagram. Due to the changes to Amazon’s review policy, I may or may not be able to post a review of your book there.

Additionally, I do not accept any payments to ensure that I give positive reviews.
