Where You Can Find Me

First Romance Book I Read
My roommate in college, Amy, was a huge romance reader. She really wanted me to read one so she gave me Sweet Liar by Jude Deveraux because the heroine’s name was Samantha. I was hooked. I went to Barnes and Noble the next day and bought all Deveraux’s books (this was before readers when you could just go to amazon and download them!).
Ezrah: I don’t think I’ve read Sweet Liar before! I’m definitely checking it out!

Favorite Quotes from a Romance Book
Favorite Thing About the Romance Community
My favorite thing about the romance community is how open and accepting it is. There is a wide range of romance books: clean to erotic, contemporary to fantasy, YA to adult and yet everyone in the romance community can appreciate that some books are for you and some aren’t. I also love how supportive the community is for the people behind the books/blogs.
Ezrah: Yes, I agree! The romance community is definitely accepting! I also love that there is a romance book for everyone!
Romance Myth that You Hate
Ezrah: I ABSOLUTELY AGREE! I just hate that term! And I also hate the term “smut.” Gaah, it drives me up the wall.
I love me some fated mates, as well. It’s an insta-buy trope for me!
Fated Mates is such a PNR thing – I really need to get into PNR!
Yay for fated mates!!! I feel like sometimes I am the only person who digs that trope!
This is such a great feature! Thanks for having me!

YESSSSSS on the “mommy porn” myth! I also hate it when people say they only read “clean” books…sex is not dirty.

ABSOLUTELY! Call them sweet romance, or closed door, or fade to black – not “clean” gaaah it drives me nuts!
I also hate the term “mommy porn.”
I love this post on featuring one of my favorite bloggers!! She is so wonderful and I feel so blessed to call her friend. We all need to meet up one day!! That would be epic.
