May 2023 Reading Wrap-Up: Unplugging & the Dreaded Slump

Blink and you miss it – yeah it’s June and welcome to my monthly reading wrap-up! I never even realized that the month was over and here I am reading only three books! Is that even possible? After the awesome first quarter of the year, I didn’t expect a lull in my reading mojo. I have a few tips on getting out of a reading slump, but despite trying them, it still didn’t get me out of it. It’s a little surprising because I’ve followed all of these strategies before!

Despite my reading slump, I discovered an awesome series – Legends of the Storm by Bec McMaster! I read the first three books in the series and these were my three books for the month of May! The first three books actually feel like a trilogy even though there are more books in this series.
