ZEEE’S THOUGHTS
A heartwarming movie, Love, Rosie was an awesome Chick Flick that I enjoyed by myself (of course)! This movie was just full of laughs and tears and just – so FUN!
Love, Rosie is based on the book Where Rainbows End by Cecelia Ahern which is about two best friends. It is obvious at the start of the movie that Rosie and Alex love each other but are scared to admit it to each other because they did not want to ruin their relationship. The movie spans a few years in their life as both graduate high school, go on to college and start their careers. Both plan to go to the US to go to University (yes, I sound so British) until Rosie ends up getting pregnant.
I really love this movie! It’s fun and I found it really easy to relate to Rosie, the main character. I mean, even if I still think of her Clary Fray (The Mortal Instruments) and the other as Finnick (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire), I thought both were cute together. There were a few laughs all throughout the movie – the condom – ROFL.
This movie was a surprise to me, really. I thought it would be the usual teen flick but it was filled with a lot of thought provoking scenes.
I haven’t read the book which this movie was based on and I may not read it. I am not such a fan of Chick Lits at this point but the movie was awesome – brought me to tears too!
HUBBY’S TAKE
Nope, hubby did not watch this with me. I really don’t think that he can stand through this girly movie with me.
I don't see it working for men 😉 But I'm not a man and would love to see it, thanks for the review 🙂
LOL yes they really don't!
I loved this movie. I'm not a fan of Lily's acting but she was great in this movie. The couple was really cute and it had really funny moments.
Great review

Yeah, I think she is an OK actress but I really loved the movie as a whole. 🙂
