Last month’s deets on I Heart Romance & YA
Hello, Wormies! April was a really short month for me because I was on vacay for about three weeks! Yup, my vacay was the only thing on my mind and the internetz was sooooo slooooooowwwww so I wasn’t able to blog (more about this was in yesterday’s post). Also, I was still in jetlag mode and I didn’t really have the energy to open my laptop.
Anyway, I managed to listen to audiobooks on the plane and read while I was there, so I wasn’t totally out of it. haha But again, I didn’t read as much as I thought I would.
Although I upped the number of books I read this month, I didn’t write a review or write a discussion post! Ack! I also didn’t read any fantasy books for the Flights of Fantasy reading challenge. Please, I need fantasy recs now!
This book is a re-read and one of the first books I read by Sabrina Jeffries waaaaaay back in the day! I was able to bring with me my old copy from the Philippines, too.
No book reviews in April, unfortunately 🙁

I don’t have books that I am dying to read for May BUT I do have movies that I SOOOO WANT TO SEEE LIKE TODAY!!!
I can’t wait to see Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 and also Everything, Everything! I haven’t read the book (and I probably wouldn’t) but the trailer is so good that I can’t NOT see it!
How did your April go? Any good books you read that I should know about?

Fantasy recs, hmmm. Have you read Frostblood, A Darker Shade of Magic, or Six of Crows? Those are some of my recent favorites, I fell hard for the Shades of Magic series! The Falconer, The Orphan Queen, In The Time of Dragon Moon, The Demon King, Uprooted, The Impostor Queen, Graceling, Grounded: The Adventures of Rapunzel, Labyrinth Lost, Stolen Songbird, and Princess of Thorns are all really good too 🙂

Thanks for the recs, Morgan! I have read Six of Crows and Graceling but the other books I have tried to read but I wasn’t able to get to! Hahaha I need to read ADSOM and Uprooted so much, though!
I’m glad you had a relaxing vacation and forgot about the blog for a bit! I really need to take the time to do that too. I’m really excited about seeing Everything, Everything!

Oh, me too! And yes, I had fun on my vacation and it was pretty awesome to stay away from blogging for a while 🙂
I’m glad you had a good vacation! Sometimes forgetting about the blog and just relaxing is best. Happy May!

For fantasy recs, have you read The Star-Touched Queen? And I’m really curious how Everything, Everything would turn out!

Yes, I have read The Star-Touched Queen! I absolutely LOVE it! I still have to read the second book Crown of Wishes 🙂
Vacation for three weeks sounds amazing!! I can’t wait to see Everything, Everything as I loved the book.
Me too! I’m just not sure if I want to read the book, though…
Glad you got in some audiobooks, but when you’re on holiday you should definitely not worry about blogging! I can’t wait to see Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2, too!

I felt a little bad for not blogging, though. But it was awesome to be on a short hiatus. Also, it feels… different.. blogging in a different place. haha 🙂
I haven’t read many of the books on your list, but I hope to soon!
Hope you will read them, Alice 🙂 I have been reading more historical romances this year, though…
