Welcome, Historical Romance lovers and new historical romance readers! Welcome to my very first Historical Romance Reading Challenge! I decided to embark and host this challenge because the historical romance is my guilty pleasure and my all-time favorite genre.
For 2017, I am challenging myself and I’m inviting everyone else to join in! You don’t have to be an uber fan of historical romance, to join. In fact, I welcome newbies and readers who want to try historical romance for the very first time!
For this challenge, my goal will be to be a Duchess and read 36 books! I also want to challenge myself and read at least one book in these categories: Regency Romance, Victorian Romance, Historical Romance with a Diverse main character.
THIS IS IT, readers! I have finally stumbled into a historical romance reading slump! HONESTLY! I have officially finished my challenge, and I have read more than 36 books in this genre, I am sad to say that I haven’t picked up a historical romance book in the last 2 weeks! Eeeep!

I do love time travel romance, but its not a common sub genre anymore. Looks like you read some good ones this month though. I do recommend you try out Melissa Mayhue and Nancy Scanlon. Both are great and I think you would enjoy both of those authors.

Oh! Hahaha I KNOW Nancy Scanlon! I need to go read her books, though! 🙂
That is true, time travel has not been a popular genre in the last few years… also.. I’m not a fan of Outlander… shhhhh*
