Last month on I Heart Romance
Happy LEAP YEAR, Wormies! I am in a much better mood right now, even though I was traveling almost every day for work last month! Whew! The upside to that is that I’ve listened to a few more books this month, the downside is that I haven’t been reading at night.
I’ve been watching a lot of Beauty YouTube videos in the last few weeks or so and I don’t really know why! I don’t even wear a lot of make-up! I have to say that I have also been watching Romance Booktube, too!
I’ve also not been THAT great with Romanceopoly because I’ve always been horrible at following through with TBRs. So, I will be sorta cheating and include one book under Paranormal Romance even though it wasn’t one of the books that I picked for the month.
This month was THE month that I finally had a DNF! We are Us by Tara Leigh is that book. I legit DNF’d the book at 90% because I just wasn’t invested in the relationship at all. I mean, we’re at the 90% mark and the h/H haven’t had their second-chance yet! Gahh.
While War of Hearts is the longest book, I listened to the audiobook for that one.

We saw two movies in the theater this month – Sonic The Hedgehog and My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising. I have to say that I think I slept at certain parts of My Hero Academia but I did notice that the battle was 85% of the movie. Seriously. I know Pierre was happy about this movie and loved it so much. I can’t with this anime – and I watch anime.
What are your February top reads?
Have you read Chasing Cassandra yet? Was it a disappointment as it was to me?

Love seeing your monthly recap!! I had my first DNF too so that was no fun but at least it happened toward the end of the month. I am so sorry you didn’t care for Chasing Cassandra, I loved it surprisingly considering how the few latest books in the series have disappointed me. But hope the next book Kleypas comes out with is one you love!! My top reads for February would probably be A Heart of Blood and Ashes by Milla Vane and Hers to Tame by Rhenna Morgan.
I love beauty YOUTUBE, of course, I need to wear makeup since I deal with Rosacea so I am always looking for ways to cover it up and look pretty. But I also listen to romance tube and religious stuff and some political/current news to keep updated on things going on.

Thanks, Renee! This is one of my fave posts to do! I did like Chasing Cassandra, it just didn’t wow me, which was a bit disappointing.
I want to read A Heart of Blood and Ashes by Milla Vane! I keep hearing about it!
I DNFed a book in February too. I’m trying to get better about quitting books when they’re not entertaining me. Happy March!

Happy March, Aj! I know it’s hard to DNF something but I am such a slow reader, I can’t afford to finish a book I’m not loving. LOL
I love your monthly wrap-up! It’s so easy to read! And, I’m adding your “must read” books to my TBR! You got a lot accomplished this month! 🙂

Thank you, Christine! This is one of the posts that I love doing. And I made a template for it so it’s easy to do every month. 🙂
February was not the greatest reading month for me in terms of quantity. I only read 4 books. But thankfully I really enjoyed most of them! And I just discovered a small section of romance booktube! I’ve been binging romance videos for a week now and getting some great recommendations! My romance TBR has definitely grown this past month!

OMG! There is an awesome romance booktube community! You have to follow Under the Covers Book Blog, Lacey Book Lovers, and Peace Love Books! Those are the ones that I love watching. 🙂
Where was your favorite place you traveled to?
My husband and loves My Hero Academia but it looks ridiculous to me!
Don’t get me started on My Hero Academia! Gaah And he also watches One-Piece and it’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen! LOL
I’ve only been traveling around the LA area so nowhere fancy! haha I do love driving to some parts of LA where I can take another route via the Pacific Coast Highway so I see the coast! So pretty!
