Happy Tuesday! Today, I will be sharing my favorite romance heroines! These are my favorite romance characters that have stayed with me to this day!
Since I mostly read romance, all of my heroines will be from romance novels.

paranormal romance
Cat Crawfield
The Night Huntress Novels by Jeaniene Frost
Why I Love This
I absolutely love Cat Crawfield. She is one of those flawed, but amazing, and kickass heroines I have ever read.
Cat is a half-human half-vampire hybrid who becomes a vampire slayer and falls for Bones, a master vampire. She is also known as the Red Reaper.

Paranormal romance
Nix the Ever-Knowing
Immortals After Dark series by Kresley Cole
Why I Love This
While Nix is not a heroine yet (I am hoping she gets her own book and HEA), she is one of my favorite characters in the IAD series! She is a book-hopping character and is a seer, so she does play a role in manipulating our favorite characters in each book!
She is a Valkyrie and is probably one of the oldest living Valkyrie in The Lore at 3000 years old. She is also known as Nucking Futs Nïx by her fellow Valkyrie sisters. She is more prominent in the later books in the IAD series.

paranormal romance
Sascha Duncan
Slave to Sensation / Psy-Changeling series by Nalini Singh
Why I Love This
Sascha is one of my favorite characters in the Psy-Changeling series and book-hops in other books of the series. She is the very first heroine of the series and kicks it off with a bang.
She is a Psy and is probably one of the more powerful Psy heroines. Her other powers are revealed in the later books of the series.

paranormal romance
Harvester
Reaver / Lords of Deliverance series by Larissa Ione
Why I Love This
Harvester is another amazing and strong heroine in the paranormal romance books that I’ve read so far. She is a fallen angel and the main reason for her fall is revealed in Reaver.
The sacrifice Harvester makes is just awe-inspiring. In fact, she has gone undercover in hell for thousands of years!

Romantic Suspense
Noelle
Midnight Action / Killer Instincts series by Elle Kennedy
Why I Love This
Noelle is one tough cookie! She is another favorite kick-ass heroine – she is the leader of a group of female assassins.
Her temper is pretty volatile but since this book is a second-chance romance and she does have a reason to hate the hero.

Contemporary Romance
Daisy Devreaux
Kiss an Angel by Susan Elizabeth Phillips
Why I Love This
Kiss an Angel was a surprise to me because I wasn’t really a fan of Daisy during the first half of the book.
Fortunately for us, she had immense character growth later in the book and she befriended a few circus animals!

Contemporary Romance
Iris
Long Shot by Kennedy Ryan
Why I Love This
Iris is one of the strongest heroines out of all the heroines I have read so far. She starts off as a naive and idealistic woman and was able to come out of domestic abuse as an extremely strong woman.
Long Shot is one of the hardest books that I’ve read, but it is amazingly well written.

Historical Romance
Evangeline Jenner
Devil in Winter / Wallflowers series by Lisa Kleypas
Why I Love This
The growth of Evie in her book is amazing! She is the shy Wallflower who was abused and bullied by her mother’s relatives. When she takes her fate into her own hands, we see her grow into an amazing and strong heroine.

YA Sci-Fi Graphic Novel
Iko
Wires and Nerve / The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer
Why I Love This
Iko is the robot / AI invented by Cinder when she was a child and she is such an amazing character. She is used as a comedic relief in The Lunar Chronicles but her own spin-off series makes her an amazing heroine!

YA Contemporary Romance
Maggie Carleton
Until Friday Night by Abbi Glines
Why I Love This
I was not expecting to love this book as much as I do, but Maggie made me love this book so much!
Maggie witnesses the murder of her mother by her father’s hand and she is unable to speak after witnessing this trauma.

Who are your favorite romance heroines?
