Happy Valentine’s Day, Wormies! I was SUPER exhausted the last couple days so this post is a day late but since it’s Valentine’s Day, I decided to go ahead and make this post!
I LOVE romance. Heck, my blog name is I HEART Romance & YA! So this post will feature 10 of my favorite book meet-cute scenes in the books I read.
Favorite Book Meet-Cute Scenes
When Ron Met Hermione
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J.K. Rowling
Say what you will about Hermione and Harry BUT THE perfect couple is still Ron and Hermione! They first met aboard the Hogwarts Express when Hermione was looking for Neville’s toad and she pointed out that Ron had dirt on his nose. ❤
When Cress met Thorne
Cress by Marissa Meyer
Cress and Thorne is my fave TLC couple and they met via a vid screen! But they physically met when Thorne entered her satellite to rescue her. Also, his first words to her on the vid screen were: “That’s a lot of hair.”
When Tarver met LilaC
These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman & Meagan Spooner
Tarver and Lilac met at a party aboard a ship. Their eyes met across the crowded ballroom. And they immediately disliked each other. Hate to love is still my favorite tropes!
When Avery met Cam
Wait for You by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Avery literally ran into Cam while she was rushing to her astronomy class and Cam was trying to ditch the class. This starts one of the most emotional relationships that I ever read, to date!
When Celaena Met Chaol
Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas
I am a fan of Celaena and Chaol and I don’t care that they will never be a thing but I still remember when these two met for the very first time. Caleana was in chains and Chaol was trying to convince Prince Dorian not to trust her.
When Calpurnia met Gabriel St. John
Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake by Sarah MacLean
When Callie takes her destiny into her own hands, she goes into Ralston’s room at midnight and asks for a kiss, also asking him to help her break the rules. Nines Rules is one of my favorite Sarah MacLean’s books.
When Piper Met Hale
Beautiful Lawman by Sophie Jordan
Piper and Hale didn’t meet in their own book but their first meet-cute was in the previous book, Fury on Fire. Hale visits the strip club where Piper works where he ends up insulting her and she pours beer down his pants.
When Kat met Bones
Halfway to the Grave by Jeaniene Frost
One of my favorite paranormal romances I read is Jeaniene Frost’s HttG! And of course, the first Bones and Kat meeting was when Kat was trying to pick-up a vamp and she chose Bones. He was not receptive to her moves so she uttered, “Want to F*ck.” Let’s just say, it was a very interesting start to their relationship!
When Emma Met Ash
The Duchess Deal by Tessa Dare
Emma met Ash for the first time when Emma demanded that Ash pay for the wedding gown that his ex-fiance commissioned. Emma was wearing the hideous gown, by the way. And Ash immediately proposed. Trust me, it was a funny scene!
When Rosamund met Lawrence
Bedchamber Games by Tracy Anne Warren
Who would have thought that one of my fave meet-cute moments was when Lawrence met Rosamund while she was masquerading as a man. She also won against Lawrence!

Cress and Thorne had such a cute meeting. I loved them too, he was so kuch like Flynn Rider. I cant think of any at the moment but now Im curious to see who would make my list. Definitely Georgina and Seth.
OMG YES! If not Flynn, he reminded me of Han Solo, too! ?
I love Thorne and Cress! They are my favorite couple for the TLC series too. Some of these books are on my TBR and I can’t wait to read them.

RIGHT?! They are so cute together, too!! Hope you finally read the books! Let me know what you think when you!
I love this topic! I liked Lilac and Tarver a lot too. It was a fun hate to love there, and their relationship had such a dramatic beginning. I liked Chaol, but I am happy with Celaena’s match in ToG.
