Hello, FALL! As someone who has experienced fall only in the last 10 years, this is one of my favorite seasons! Not only is the weather perfect (well, Southern California perfect), but I find that this is the BEST time to read! I read in bed and snuggling in to read the day away is just perfect!
Here are the books that are at the top of my dangerously high TBR pile.
Historical Romance
A Duke in Shining Armor (November 28, 2017) – This is like the Runaway Bride only in a historical setting! She also ends up falling for her fiance’s friend, who runs after her.
Wilde in Love (October 31, 2017) – This is about an aristocrat explorer and writer. He discovers that he is a celebrity when he returns to England. Also, he meets a shy spinster who doesn’t care for his celebrity!
A Daring Arrangement (October 31, 2017) – I absolutely love the setting here! Set in New York during the GIlded Age, Lady Honora needs to marry ASAP. Of course, she doesn’t want to marry, so she picks the most unlikely American groom and they end up falling in love!
If Ever I Should Love You (December 26, 2017) – I love marriage of convenience stories and this looks like a good one! And also looks like a second chance romance!
Contemporary Romance
Chasing Christmas Eve (September 26, 2017) – The heroine is a bestselling YA author who runs to escape the craziness and meets a man who is not into relationships.
Beautiful Lawman (December 26, 2017) – The 4th book in the amazing Devil’s Rock series, follows Hale Walters, the town Sherrif and Piper Walsh, the girl from the other side of the tracks. I have read this book already and I am going to reread it this fall!
Young Adult
Renegades (November 7, 2017) – SUPER excited about the latest Marissa Meyers book! I love the Romeo & Juliet feel of this one and I just can’t wait!
Forest of a Thousand Lanterns (October 10, 2017) – This book looks promising! It feels like an antiheroine story, too! AND it is set in East Asia!
What are the books on your fall TBR pile?
Have you read any of the books mentioned above? Which one should I read first?

Chasing Christmas Eve was so cute. I loved getting to know Spence better and we get to know a little something about Eddie too. Colbie was pretty fabulous. Loved her backstory. This series has wormed its way deep into my heart.
