Bookish updates in the last 3 weeks
Happy Sunday, everyone! As you know, I live in SoCal and there is a scary wildfire going on close to my neighborhood! My city hasn’t been evacuated, but the next city close to the fires has been. Praying for everyone affected to be safe!
Because I’ve met my reading goal, I have decided to stop requesting ARCs for now (and I hope I will not be tempted!). I will try my best to read all the ones that I have right now and stop mood reading.
I will keep this update short, though. So, please stay safe and hug your loved ones tonight!
I’m putting The Governess Game on hold because my time was up and I had to return it to the library. I’m currently on queue again but it may take a while!

Be safe! This is so scary. Glad you are okay so far.
Fire is contained now and we’re okay. But I really feel bad for the people who lost their homes!
Whew….yes I am so worried about you folks in California right now. I can’t believe you still have fires, and so many have lost their homes.

Yes! I absolutely love it! I finished it a couple of days ago! It was so surprising and amazing!
I’m glad we’re okay but I know there are a lot of people who lost everything! The fires are really scary!
I’ll be sending you good vibes, this fire is crazy! I can’t wait to read The Ine You Fight For!

The One You Fight For is AMAZING! I love it so much!
The fires are really crazy! Glad it’s contained now. They are slowly repopulating the areas.
I hope you stay safe! I’m in Sacramento and we smell the fire in Paradise, which is north of us. I hope they are able to contain all these fires and everyone stays safe!
oh! I hope you guys are okay, too! The NorCal fires are really horrible and I can’t believe a whole town burned down!
A wonderful week you had. Lots of amazing books. Have a wonderful week.

Stay safe, I can’t imagine! I have an audible credit and want to get Unzipped as well, Lauren Blakley is a fave.
I hope to start Unzipped, soon!
My reading has many books in common with yours and I got most of the freebies you did. I didn’t find too much to request for December. My book requests tend to happen 2-3 months in advance. One publisher already sent me their March 2019 widgets!! The audiobooks lag and I get those lists usually the same month they are released. So in December I look forward to finishing up stuff I just want to read. January is jam packed though.
Stay safe! I hope things improve this week there. It rained here all week; too bad you didn’t get some of it. Anne – Books of My Heart

Oh, that’s true! I am not trying to request more, though! I don’t want to read books waaaaay in advance, though!
I’m glad the fires are contained now but the devastation is really horrible!
