Bookish updates in the last 2 weeks
Happy Late Sunday, Wormies! It’s been two weeks since I last blogged and as you can tell, I’m currently in an epic blogging and reading slump! It’s not pretty, I tell you!
Anyway, as predicted, September is a very busy month for me and the month isn’t even over yet! We still have plans to go out of town this weekend so expect another slump coming on! I usually get exhausted after going on vacation!
I managed to read 5 books in the last couple of weeks, which is fewer books than normal. However, I am currently reading 5 books because I can’t seem to focus! Eeeep! Kill me now reading gods!
On a happy note, Pierre and I went to The Happiest Place on Earth and obviously, someone wasn’t very happy about it! He did agree to wear matching shirts! So yay for #twinning! Full disclosure: Pierre isn’t a fan of Disney and isn’t into matchy-matchy, but I am so happy that he went with it and wore the damn shirt!
I’m also super excited to start reading #romanceclass books! For those of you who don’t know, Romanceclass are contemporary romance books written by Filipinos set in the Philippines (for the most part!). I am really excited about this because I haven’t read this type of romance before! A couple of books that I borrowed are set in my hometown, Dumaguete City – and I can’t wait!
I’m having a very hard time relating with Jimmy! He has been a total douche to Lena… so I may pick this up at a later time.

Hope the slump passes soon! I was in a reading slump not too long ago too, they’re such a pain.
Beginner’s Guide looks great- love that bright cover!

I know what you mean, Greg! I usually have this on and off throughout the year! It’s horrible!
Oh Pierre was such a good sport! To wear the matching shirts is just awesome! Glad you had fun. Enjoy your books-hopefully they are slump breakers!

He was! He hated the whole Disneyland thing, too but he went because I wanted to! LOL We only went on very few rides, too! The lines were super long… and we hate crowds…
Visiting from Stacking the Shelves.
Wow….that looks like a lot of books to me! I hear ya on the books set in your home country / state / etc. Every time I get a book set in Kentucky, I already feel like part of the action! And I absolutely adore your Bookstagram pictures! My hands shake too much anymore to take good pics. :/
