Sharing my thoughts on this weeks’ reads
Hello all! It’s been an awesome couple of weeks and I was able to read themed books for Halloween! But now that I am currently reading Christmas themed books, I am having a VERY, VERY hard time and I’m not loving anything that I am picking up! Eeep!
I am also still reading some of the books that I had from last week since I had to stop them while I read for Halloween and now for Christmas. But you know what, I may be picking them up again just because Christmas is NOT doing anything for me. Oh, and before I forget, I am hosting a Bingo Challenge for #HoHoHoRAT and you can learn more about that here.
Also, because I am having a hard time with the Christmas books I picked, I am rereading ‘Twas the Night After Christmas by Sabrina Jeffries.
I’m sorry, I just can’t get into this story. I’m not liking the heroine AND the hero at all. Gaaaah!

I have only read Callihan’s contemporaries. Maybe I should check out her other books. Clayton is always a good read for me. She is hilarious and a good rom-com always hits the spot (which is why I love Penny Reid so much! Hope you like Neanderthal). Interested to see what you think of the new Gibson. She is hit or miss for me. I have loved some, and been indifferent towards others. Yes! I do enjoy holiday books, though Christmas seems to be the dominate holiday. I am had to find a non-christmas holiday book to read for a challenge, and it was not easy, but I did it. Happy reading!

I haven’t read Rachel Gibson before so I’m pretty excited to start. I got the first book in her Chinooks series yesterday for 99 cents so I may read that first before reading her latest one 🙂
I’m currently reading We Wish You a Murderous Christmas by Vicki Delany; it’s a Christmas themed cozy mystery and I’m loving it. It’s the second in the series but you can read the first too – I also loved that one. 🙂

Oh thanks for the rec, Lauren! I haven’t read a cozy mystery before! 😀
I haven’t read the PNR series by Kristen Callihan but I enjoy a lot of her romance series so maybe I will give it a shot! Have a great week!

I have read one of her contemporaries and enjoyed them. Her PNR is pretty good, too!
