Sharing my thoughts on this weeks’ reads
Happy Sunday, Wormies! I think my historical romance reading days are numbered – well, for now! After reading Beautiful Lawman by Sophie Jordan last week, I felt like reading more contemporaries! Also, sports romance! Now, I am not a fan of sports AT. ALL. But sports romance? Woah! Let me have them! Also, Iike the NA sports romance more.
On a more positive side, I have made one of my BFFs, Lurch READ A BOOK! Hallelujah! She has been in a slump for a few years already and we have been trying to get her to read more. She finally picked up Jackaby which I recommended to her a couple of months ago. FINALLY!

So, I have been hooked by SPORTS ROMANCE! Is there any book that you can recommend I read? I specifically like NA sports romance *wink

I adore the Off Campus books. One of my fave NA series. I don’t like sports either, but I love sports romances. I just finished Game On by Lynn Stevens yesterday (liked it a lot) and am reading Lucas by Sawyer Bennett (my Cold Fury men are the best), while listening to Pipe Dreams by Sarina Bowen. So, lots of sports right now.

Ohh awesome! I listened to a couple of Sarina’s sports romance a few months ago. I need to get on it and finish the ones in that series!
oh looks like a good reading update!! I am so thrilled that Sophie Jordans book Beautiful Lawman was a good one. I have really enjoyed this series quite a bit. I haven’t read too many sports themed romances, but the ones I have liked The Perfect Play by Jaci Burton, All Lined Up by Cora Cormack, and the Deal by Elle Kennedy.
Oh yeah! Elle Kennedy is a fave! I just didn’t like the latest one in that series, though! But the first 3 were AMAZING! 🙂
Oh the next book in the Game on Series, the Friend Zone, is my FAVORITE!!!! Also, check out Sarina Bowen’s Brooklyn Bruisers series! Have a great week!

Ohh I am definitely eyeing that book! I’m on hold for it at the library 🙂
I actually read Sarina Bowen’s first Brooklyn Bruisers series which I enjoyed, the second one not so much. I can’t wait for the Brooklyn Bruiser’s owner and his assistant’s romance (I can’t think about their names at this time).
A few months ago I went to a library book sale and they had a table of Sabrina Jeffries and I picked up How To Woo a Reluctant Lady, I haven’t read it but I hope it’s good. I’ve never read her before, but it looked like someone had donated an entire collection so I had to pick one !
Going off of Samantha’s rec I rec Sarina Bowen’s The Ivy Years series, it’s about college hockey. I liked book 2 better than book 1.
She is good! It’s actually best to read that series, Hellions of Halstead Hall in order because there is a mystery that is introduced in book 1 which will be solved in book 5. How to Woo is my favorite of the series and it’s the 3rd book 🙂
Oh man, I loooove The Hook Up, it’s my favorite of that series. Something about the anticipation and build up of that first kiss is just so good. I hope you like it!
YES!!! I absolutely ENJOYED it, Nereyda!
