Sharing my thoughts on this weeks’ reads
Happy Wednesday, Wormies! Why am I posting my Currently Reading post on a Wednesday? Well, if you live in the San Fernando Valley, California, something scary happened last weekend! Yeah, a DWP plant exploded (based on the news, a part of the plant) and about 140,000 customers lost power! PLUS, the streets were NUTS because the traffic lights and the street lights were out! Unfortunately, I was out when this happened, so it was crazy driving home that night. The good thing, the outage happened around 7 PM, so it wasn’t as warm.
Anyway, we were one of those houses that lost power, which went back up around 3 AM! Gaaah! Anyway, I had planned on finishing my post on Saturday night, but since the outage happened, I wasn’t able to. Internet was also spotty! THE HORROR!
Anyway, I was also busy on Sunday and Monday, which basically left Tuesday as the only day to finish this post. So without further ado, here are my updates!

If there was an outage and there was no power? What would you do while waiting for the power to come back on?
I honestly tried to read, to no avail! It was super warm that I ended up just sleeping around 10 PM!

A couple months ago we lost power at around noon and it didn’t come back until 9:30 that night. Thankfully it was a spring Sunday and wasn’t hot. I just listened to music on my iPod and read all day.
GAAAAHHH I don’t know how the world will survive without power #firstworldproblems
Oh man. I’m sorry to hear about the power going out. That sounds crazy – so many lost power. I can’t even imagine having no power – or internet – for even just a few hours. O_O Doing my job would literally be impossible, let alone everything else. D: Anyway, I’m glad it’s back for you. I loved When Dimple Met Rishi and hope you do too!
Have a fantastic week. =)

Yes, I read your review, Alyssa and I’m pretty excited to read it! I am still waiting for the right time to read it though. Right now I have quite a few things on my TBR pile that I need to read first 🙂
