Sharing my thoughts on this weeks’ reads
Even though I had a rough time the last few months, I actually blew my Goodreads Challenge through the roof! Yes, I already met my goal a couple of months ago and I feel super happy about that. I haven’t been reviewing as much, though but I am hoping that would change for next year!
Unfortunately, I am unable to get into the historical romance books that I have right now. Sadly. If you have any good HR books to recommend, please send some my way! PLEASE!
Starflight by Melissa Landers
I can’t believe it took me a few months to finish Starflight! I mean, I was about halfway through it and I just stopped because I lost interest! Ohh, I can’t wait for the second book!
The Thousandth Floor by Katharine McGee
This turned into a DNF for me because of obvious reasons! Ha! I didn’t like it at all. There just wasn’t anything happening in the first part of the book PLUS it was hinted that
there is a brother/sister romance thing going on. Sure, he is an adopted brother BUT THEY WERE RAISED AS SIBLINGS!
That is just wrong IMHO.
The Princess, the Scoundrel, and the Farm Boy by Alexandra Bracken
I thought this was okay. It was basically A New Hope with a few added scenes not in the movie. It was written well, but reading adaptations of the Star Wars Universe is probably not something that I will be reading.
Everywhere and Every Way by Jennifer Probst
Another amazing book by Jennifer Probst! I will just say that the dogs Gandalf and Balan stole the show!
The Marriage Bargain by Jennifer Probst
I loved reading the first book in the Marriage to a Billionaire series. A solid one from Jennifer Probst.
Mogul by Joanna Shupe
I was very, very disappointed about this book. I didn’t like it as much as I loved Baron. Sigh* Joanna Shupe has been a hit and miss for me, though. I will say that the heroine was just too unlikeable for me.
Midnight Rescue by Elle Kennedy
This is probably the first romantic suspense book that I read in a long, long time. I am reading the next book in the series just to see if I really like it. It’s written well but there is just less romance for my taste.
What are you currently reading? Any good recs?
Any Christmas themed books that you have read lately?
I need to get my hands on Gemina!

Yes, you should! 🙂
I’m listening to Gemina on audio and omg, it’s brilliant! I liked Starflight a lot too 🙂
