Bookish updates in the last 2 weeks
Happy Sunday, Wormies! These last couple of weeks has been a little bittersweet. I’m really missing Pierre so much and it looks like he will be home next month. This is the longest time we have been apart since 2012 and I’m missing him so much.
This is probably why I have been reading a lot of bad boy romance books! Yes, I know. I married a “bad boy.” It also looks like I have been bingeing Jay Crownover’s books like crazy! I am already on book 2 in the Marked Men spin-off Saints of Denver!
It’s also Audiobook Month so I plan to post a few audiobook related posts in the next few weeks. I have to admit that I have mostly transitioned to audiobooks and read once in a while.
I made progress with Wicked and the Wallflower and it’s really good! I hope to finally finish it this week! I know, I have been slacking but I haven’t been reading in a while.
As much as I love the Marked Men series, I had a hard time with Nash so it’s been on hold. I was able to continue the series even though I skipped this book.

Don’t you just love reading books featuring bad boys?
What are your favorite bad boy romance books?

I hope your “bad boy” gets home soon. ((HUGS)) I miss the Marked world so much. I was so of sad when Saints ended, but I understand an author wanting to do different things. Charged featured such an interesting pairing. Loved it! I can’t wait to hear what you think of the new Alyssa Cole book. I really enjoyed the first book in the series.
I just finished Charged today and WOWZA! I actually loved it. It’s so unusual and totally an opposites attract romance but really done so well!
I’ll let you know when I’m done with Alyssa Cole’s book!
I love the Marked Men series! In fact, just got a craving to re-read Rule yesterday. So I need to grab mine off my autographed TBR shelf to reread. But you put Nash on hold? Nash is one of my favorites in the series! You should give it another try if you have time!

I actually increased my rating for Rule from 3 to 5/5 hearts! This was a reread for me and I LOVE it the second time I read it! I was emotionally torn! OMG!
I just didn’t like Nash? I will probably finish it soon!
Wow, you’ve finished a lot of books. I hope the time until Pierre gets home goes quickly. Have a good week!

Thanks, AJ! I usually read more when Pierre isn’t home 🙂
It’s tough when you miss someone! At least the books are keeping you busy, hope you’re back together soon! 🙂

He’ll be home next month or maybe sooner, depending on his work schedule. Anyway, the books really help me pass the time… 🙂 I read less when he is home…
I don’t blame you! When my husband is gone I totally go for romance and I do like my bad boys. 😉 I hope you enjoy this week!
