Happy Tuesday, Romance Readers! It’s been a while, but I’ve been very busy IRL and haven’t had time to sit down and blog. To top it off, I have been in a semi-book slump in the last month or so and I have been book hopping. Ultimately, I ended up reading only two books last month!
Anyway, I decided to switch up my reading and list a few books that I am planning to read this summer. As always, it’s not a guarantee that I will be reading these books, but it’s still fun to take a look at the books that have been on my radar.
I have also made a dent in my Spring 2023 TBR pile!

Resonance Surge by Nalini Singh
Psy-Changeling Trinity #7
PARANORMAL ROMANCE
I’ve been a huge fan of the Psy-Changeling and Psy-Changeling Trinity series since I read it in 2020 and I can’t wait to read the latest book in the spin-off series!

Knockout by Sarah MacLean
Hell’s Belles #3
HISTORICAL ROMANCE
Okay, so I haven’t read the first book in this series but I’m planning to before I pick this up. Fingers crossed on that one since it’s been a while since I read a historical romance. This book though, sounds like it will be a riot and it IS Sarah MacLean, so I know that she will deliver!

A Ship of Bones & Teeth by Karina Halle
Standalone
DARK FANTASY ROMANCE
I can’t wait to read this book! I’m a fan of Karina Halle and this book just sounds like something that I would absolutely enjoy! I’m also a fan of The Little Mermaid and the dark original fairy tale so I’m curious how Karina reimagines this tale.

Mission: Improper by Bec McMaster
London Steampunk: The Blue Blood Conspiracy #1
STEAMPUNK ROMANCE
I’ve been reading Bec McMaster’s dragon romance and I have read book 1 in her London Steampunk series and I enjoy her writing. I still have to start this spin-off series, though!

Liars Like Us by J.T. Geissinger
Morally Grey #1
CONTEMPORARY ROMANCE
I’ve been in the mood for arranged marriage romance and this book sounds like something I would enjoy. This is also available on KU, so I’m hoping I’ll be able to get to this book before the end of summer.

It’s a summer of love for you! That’s so fun!
Enjoy your summer reading, whatever it ends up looking like!
Happy TTT!

Good luck with your TBR! I’m in a book slump too, so I can relate. Nothing is really holding my attention right now.

If I read two books in a month that means I’m on a roll, lol.
I’m also intrigued by the Bec McMaster’s series. I’ve also only read the first one so I wonder if you have to go back and finish it.
