Let’s talk about anything bookish!
I love to travel but unfortunately, I haven’t done much traveling in the last 10 years. The reason being is that every time I (we) go on vacation, it was always back home in the Philippines. Not that I am complaining, but it would have been awesome to go somewhere else! Oh, and did I mention that Pierre doesn’t really like to travel as much? Maybe because he travels for work. But still!
So to indulge my love for traveling, I read. A LOT. And I always get transported to magical and fantastical worlds, or even go to places I have never been before! I think that’s one of the reasons I love to read. I’ve always been the one who loves to daydream a lot. Especially while I was in school! I bet my teachers were wondering what world I disappeared into!

I’ve always dreamt of going to other places, but these are a few places that I want to visit!
Diagon Alley
HARRY POTTER SERIES | J.K. ROWLING
Ah, how can I not mention Harry Potter in this post? Although I love to go and visit Hogwarts, I absolutely want to go to Diagon Alley. Why you ask? Because why NOT?! I can just imagine the different shops that I would want to visit! I mean, Ollivanders? Fortescue’s Ice Cream Shop, or Madam Malkins? And don’t forget Gringotts Wizarding Bank! Thankfully, Universal Studios has finally opened The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and I live less than 20 miles away! I KNOW I haven’t been, but I’m letting summer go by before I try going!
Wendlyn
THRONE OF GLASS SERIES | SARAH J. MAAS
My latest obsession, the Throne of Glass series is another place I would want to go. Specifically Wendlyn. Wendlyn is where the Ashryver’s used to live and it’s supposed to be magical! Although there isn’t a lot of things known to this land, I am still interested in exploring it myself!
Luna/New Beijing
THE LUNAR CHRONICLES | MARISSA MEYER
Next up, let’s go exploring to the Luna from The Lunar Chronicles, the magical (and scary) moon where our favorite mechanic, Cinder comes from! I want to see how the domes look like at Luna. Of course, I also want to see the palace and see Winter’s menagerie.
But how can I fail to mention, New Beijing? I would want to see how the empire looks waaaaay into the future. Right?
Wonderland
ALICE IN WONDERLAND | LEWIS CARROLL
I’m in a Wonderland mood this weekend because I just WANT to go to Wonderland! Post the Red Queen of course. I mean, I still want to keep my head on my shoulders! I also wouldn’t want to miss having tea and celebrating my Unbirthday with the Mad Hatter, the March Hare, and the Door Mouse!
Not only do I want to go to fictional worlds, I absolutely, positively want to visit real places! Of course, this one is possible to do! These are the places that I need to check off my bucket list, by the way.
Paris
ANNA AND THE FRENCH KISS | STEPHANIE PERKINS
Just because I don’t like Anna and the French Kiss, doesn’t mean I don’t want to visit Paris! This was also the only book I can think of at the moment, that I read that is set in Paris. There are just too many places that I would want to go in Paris and I absolutely envy those who have been there!
London
ALL HISTORICAL ROMANCE BOOKS
Here is another place that I want to tick off my bucket list. Of course, the real London I want to visit is the 1800s London, but that wouldn’t be happening anyway! So I’ll just settle for the modern London!
Rome
ANGELS AND DEMONS | DAN BROWN
While reading this book, I was just amazed at how I was transported to Rome! So of course, this is one place that I absolutely want to go!
Have you been to these real non-fictional worlds I mentioned above?
Which fictional worlds do you want to visit?
I would probably spend hours in Diagon Alley, haha. *_* I haven’t read Angels and Demons by Dan Brown, but I really want to visit Rome, too!

It’s one of those books where you either hate it or love it. It was a love it for me, maybe because I wasn’t looking at it as fact. It’s the same with The Da Vinci Code. Angels and Demons is better, by the way!
I loved your list of fictional places AND real life places! 🙂 WHO THE HECK WOULDN’T want a chance to be able to visit Harry Potter’s world? I’ll take Hogwarts, Diagon Alley, WHEREVER. (All this talk about Harry Potter really makes me want to get back in it and read it again!) I smell a Harry Potter binge coming on. 😉

I just binge watched the whole series last weekend! Thanks to Freeform! hahaha 🙂
London and Rome for sure! I feel like Wonderland would confuse me. O_o I would love to experience some of the epic fantasy series’ worlds, like Cashore’s setting, or that of Rebel of the Sands. 🙂
Fantastic post, Zee!
