Another Sky by Jayne Frost surprised me in a lot of ways. I was not expecting this book at all. It’s an amazingly written book about struggle, depression, and dealing with loss. I was reading part of this book on the plane and I was brought to tears! You should definitely have tissues ready for this book!
In Another Sky, both the hero and heroine are damaged – but both are also at a different place. Gelsey and Miles are two totally different people but they are perfect for each other.
I love how this book deals with pain, depression, and coping with loss. Everyone copes differently and I love how Frost tackles a different reaction with both of the main characters.
While Another Sky is not listed under a series, we see a few characters from the Sixth Street Bands series. I read Down to You last year and I absolutely loved it.
There are trigger warnings here about depression, pain, and dealing with death, though. But I highly recommend this book to everyone! It is also easy to pick up this book without reading the books in the Sixth Street Bands series.

Do you love reading books in public? Do you cry while reading books?
If you cry while reading books, how do you deal with it if you do it in public?
Oh, I’m always reading books in public. Everywhere I get a moment. Sometimes books make me cry. If that threatens in public, I switch to a different book til I get home and can finish it and process emotions as they would like to come.
I try to do this! But sometimes the story is just soo good to stop reading!
