Last month on I Heart Romance & other things
Good morning, Wormies! It’s another month and we are closer to the end of the year! I just feel like it’s been 20 thousand years since 2020 started! Gahh I need this year to be over now.
If you are in the US, the Presidential Election is in November so please register to vote. I’m in California and we have mail-in voting. This will also be my first Presidential election since I became a US Citizen and Pierre and I are definitely voting. Also, don’t forget to complete the 2020 Census!
Now, let’s talk about what’s been happening in my life. Today was not the day. I’ve been feeling a bit under the weather so I’m lucky that today is a WFH today. But yeah. I had a fender bender this afternoon. Ack! I’m glad nobody was hurt and it was a minor accident with some damage to my car. It’s really driving me crazy. Gah. Anyway. Stay safe everyone!
I only read 8 books last month, which is okay and usual for me. As I’ve said, this month wasn’t really the best. 4 of the books I read were also rereads! I did enjoy the rereads, to be honest.

Oh no! So sorry to hear about your accident (but super glad you’re okay!!). July wasn’t the best reading month for me either, but here’s to August! 😉

I will definitely vote! My state does mail-in voting, so nobody ever has to stand in giant lines. Sorry about the fender bender. I hope you feel better soon. Have a great August!

Thank you, AJ!
Oh no!! I hate car accidents, even if they are only fender benders! I’m glad nobody got hurt, but it stays with you for weeks.
Have a lovely weekend Ezrah!!

Thanks Corina! Yes it does! the last time I was in an accident was YEARS ago!
I’m sorry to hear about the fender bender but I’m glad that you weren’t hurt (or anyone for that matter). In the entire month of July, I read 1 novella. I didn’t read anything in June. I think you might need to save me. 🙂
I hope August is good to you, Ezra!

Awww Rowena please DM if you need to chat! I have been in a reading funk, too!
Sorry to hear about the car accident! Even if no one was hurt (thank goodness) it’s enough to shake you up and stress you out. 🙁
Grip was wonderful even though I wanted to shake Bristol most of the time. LOL The follow-up, Still, was phenomenal.

Right?! Bristol was so frustrating!!
It sounds like you had a crummy day Ezrah! I hope you’re feeling better.
I am.. thank you so much, Amber!
Definitely so important to vote!! Already registered and just glad I live in a state that have made mail in voting secure–although it took us five years lol but perfect timing for everything going on this year.
And oh no about the accident….glad no one got hurt, but its scary right?

It is! I was lucky husband was in the car with me. The one who hit me was on a motorcycle so I was really scared
I’m so sorry to hear about the car accident, but I’m happy to hear that no one was hurt, at the very least! And I hope that you feel better soon!
I actually had my best reading month in July! I think the fact that I’m on vacation and I had books that I was excited to read helped me pick lots of books that I ended up flying through and loving! I’m hoping that I’ll have a similar experience in August!
