Happy Tuesday, Wormies! Do you remember every single book you ever read? Well, unfortunately, I DON’T! Sometimes, I can’t even remember the hero and/or the heroine’s name! Yeah. That’s me.
This week, I want to share the books that for the life of me, I can’t remember most of the plot!
The HookUp by Kristen Callihan
I am currently rereading this book right now because I just can’t remember what happened! I know I rated it 5/5 hearts BUT FOR THE LIFE OF ME, I CAN’T REMEMBER WHAT’S GOING ON!
Rookie Move by Sarina Bowen
Here’s another book that I read and rated 3.5/5 hearts and I can’t remember what happened! Even though I reread the blurb multiple times! But I know I LOVED it.
Easy Love by Kristen Proby
This was my first Kristen Proby and I enjoyed it so much that I gave it 4/5 hearts. Again, I don’t know what happened in this story! #epicfail I’m pretty sure if I reread this book again, I would remember the plot.
Midnight Rescue by Elle Kennedy
Here’s another book that started the Elle Kennedy binge on this series. Granted this was the first in the series. STILL! I also rated this book 3.5/5 hearts.
Better When He’s Bad by Jay Crownover
This is another first! Better When He’s Bad was my first Jay Crownover book and OMG I enjoyed it! The only thing I can remember about this book is how close it was to The Fast and the Furious minus the car chases!
Big Rock by Lauren Blakely
Here’s another one book that I enjoyed but I can’t remember what the plot or how these characters got their HEA. The only thing I DO remember is that the hero was such a douche initially. ?
The Truth About Lord Stoneville by Sabrina Jeffries
Sabrina Jeffries is one of my favorite authors and I can’t remember what happened in the first book of my favorite series The Hellions of Halstead Hall! There is one scene that I remember and it’s that scene where there is an old sword in a tavern.
A Courtesan’s Scandal by Julia London
Oh well. Yes, I read this last year and I can’t remember what happens in this book at all! I also can’t remember if I read other Julia London books, too. I only know that I didn’t really care for this book. I have a feeling that there was a scene here that I didn’t care for which really gave this book a lower star rating.
The Ugly Duchess by Eloisa James
Would you believe me if I told you that I read this book TWICE? And would you believe that even after the second read, I still can’t remember what happens in this book?! Yes. ‘Nuf said.
Have you read any of these books? Do you remember their plots?
What books do you love but can’t remember the plot?
I haven’t read any of these but they look quite interesting. I guess we have limited brain storage to remember all the bookish information 😛
I hope you get to re-read a few of them soon 😛

Hi, Sim! Thanks for stopping by! I actually reread The Hookup already! And I totally felt like I was reading it for the first time! ?
I’ve also read The Ugly Duchess twice! I love it! What’s it about, you ask? Uh… people think she is ugly, but then… either she’s not, or the hero thinks she’s pretty anyway, or something to that effect because it’s based on The Ugly Duckling and that’s what happens, right? Her name? Uh… Lady Something-or-Other (probably).
Anyway, I’m right there with you. Usually if I’ve read a book and someone starts talking about it, major plot points start to come back to me, but sometimes all I’ve got is a title and an author and “Yeah! I totally loved that book! …I remember nothing about it except that I loved it!” So you are not alone 🙂

I know what you mean! I do remember my absolute favorite books, though. But I guess it’s because I reread those books multiple times. LOL
Very romantic and cute TTT! I loved it!
You reminded me of a book I have in my library and haven’t read in a looooooong while The Truth About Lord Stoneville.
Another one for my list 😛
Ohhh, reread it again! I think it would be fun!
Thanks for stopping by, Zoe!
Ahh I can’t remember reading Better When He’s Bad either! But I love Jay’s books so much!

I’ve read some of Jay’s books and I agree they are sooo good!
No, I haven’t read any of those books. It’s funny that you read The Ugly Duchess twice and still can’t remember it, though.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
It is! I guess it was pretty unforgettable? ?
I love the Off Campus and Brooklyn Bruisers books. I guess I cannot recall all the facts either, but I loved the romance and the characters a lot. Better When He’s Bad I remember a lot more details. I think it’s because it’s a different sort of read for me.

I think it’s very interesting that we remember certain books we love but also forget some. My book club was discussing a few books and I had to read the blurb again before I could remember what happened in the book!
Some of mine on my list I remember a hint of setting or some basic premise (mountain? ghost? time travel? cop?) but I really had a whole lot of nothing, too. I know one of them I really liked, but now thinking back on it I guess it didn’t stand the test of time.
I know what you mean, Charlie! arrrghhh I think I could have added more to the list but when I was creating this post, I couldn’t think of any other books… LOL
I haven’t read any of these! I’m sure there are books where I have forgotten the plot, but I can’t think of any today! I do know i am really bad at describing plots when I recommend books to people though!
That’s funny, Bron! I think I have recommended books where I say: “This is soooo good” but I can’t seem to remember the plot!
This happens to me ALL the time!

I loved The Ugly Duchess but remember a little about it. I’ll have re-read it again now that I see it on your list lol.
I re-read it TWICE and I still can’t remember what happened! LOL Good luck!
There are SO many books that I’ve read that I barely remember. Those make the ones that I can remember stand out that much more, though.
I know what you mean, Nicole! I think the ones that I DO remember are the outstanding ones ☺️
