Mini Challenge #1: Mix and Match
There have been a lot of times where I wished I could letter or draw like all those awesome artists out there, but that is so not the case. However, I did a lot of non-bookish things in 2008 and I will share it with you today!
So, in 2008, while reviewing for my NCLEX, I stumbled upon this awesome community of digital scrapbooking! At this point, I was now in a new country, with no friends, and managing an LDR relationship and I was feeling lonely and creative t the same time. Digital Scrapbooking was a way to forget all the sadness. I also used to design and sell digital designs but have since stopped because it just takes too much time to create and promote plus do my IRL job that usually takes up more than 40 hours a week.
DIGITAL SCRAPBOOKING
Here are the kits that I created (I still have the files, thank God).
And these are the pages I created!
COLORING
The next one on the list of things I do is coloring! I actually color while listening to audiobooks OR while watching TV. It’s weird but it actually works for me!
PHOTOGRAPHY
And lastly, photography. I have stopped taking pictures tho and it really makes me sooo sad. Here are a few of my favorites!
What’s your mash-up?!
Leave your blog/Instagram/Pinterest links so I can visit!
Digital scrapbooking is such a good idea! I would love to do something like that with photos as opposed to just posting them on instagram and moving on. I guess my blog is a way of doing that but I love the layouts you used!!!

COLORING! I absolutely love coloring books and always have, even before this whole adult coloring book trend popped up. (I used to just buy kids’ coloring books, lol.) I definitely find it therapeutic and a way to express my artistic side 😉 And I think digital scrapbooking sounds so interesting!
No!!! I used to buy Disney coloring books! And this was when I was in college! I left my coloring books in Dumaguete, tho so I don’t have them with me… but it is very therapeutic!
Ezrah, your scrapbooking is so beautiful! And I defo can’t colour like that, or take photos! You little artist, you!
Also, Illuminae. I just heard of it during the second twitter chat!

Thank you, Annika! I’ve loved coloring since before it became an IN thing 🙂
ILLUMINAE OMG!! I love this book so much (and not just because the MC’s name is Ezra)! I would suggest reading it in physical book format because of the unique style of the book. I just can’t stop gushing about this book BTW.
Thanks for stopping by!
You are so creative! I love how you do digital scrapbooking! I like to watch scrapbook kits but never know what to do with them, and honestly don’t know anyone who do digital scrapbooking.
You also colored that page so pretty…
And pictures… The second one is just sooo beautiful…
Thank you Irena! Digital Scrapbooking exploded around 2008ish. I love it because you don’t have to deal with the clean up after!
Thank you for stopping by!
These are awesome!! I love all of your pictures <3
Thank you, Joy!
I used to LOVE digital scrapbooking! Once I started book blogging, I simply ran out of time, but digital scrapbooking was a fantastic artistic outlet. If you want to see a few pages I’ve created, I put some in a post on my blog once HERE.

OMG YES! I had no time to design and scrap since I started working…. and of course, blogging more. I used to have 2 other blogs, a photography blog and a scrapbooking blog… 😀
