Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl

Happy Tuesday, Wormies! It’s summer and here in SoCal, the weather is absolutely gorgeous! Especially for spending time outdoors! I’ve also been having lunch outside the office and lounging in the outdoor lounge area at work, and it’s been an awesome way to get in some reading done!
As most of you know, I’m a mood reader and any TBR list that I put out will most likely not be read! But never fear, I am not holding myself rigid with this current TBR. These are the following books that I will be reading in sometime during the summer (or maybe after summer?).
Books on My Summer TBR List
The Duke Buys a Bride by Sophie Jordan
This is the third book in The Rogue Files Series and I’m super excited to dive in! I’ve already had this ARC for a couple of months now and I’m ready to read it!
Josh and Hazel’s Guide to Not Dating by Christina Lauren
After reading Roomies, I’ve been excited to read Christina Lauren’s new line of books! They read more like women’s fiction but I’m really curious about the premise of this book!
A Duke by Default by Alyssa Cole
This is another book that is on my TBR for forever! The premise of A Duke by Default sounds pretty exciting! I also need to read the first book A Princess in Theory, so I may have to read that book first.
Truth or Beard by Penny Reid
My OSRBC Book club is reading Truth or Beard this month as our modern bookish read so I’m ready to give Penny Reid a chance. I didn’t like the first book in her Knitting in the City series so…
Royally Wed by Teri Wilson
I won this book from OSRBC and I’m really excited to read this book. This will be my first Teri Wilson book, but Royally Wed is a RITA nominee, so I’m pretty sure this is going to be a good one!
Wicked and the Wallflower by Sarah MacLean
I am actually almost done with Wicked and the Wallflower and I’m really going to try my best to finish it. I haven’t been reading a lot for the last few weeks and have mostly been listening to audiobooks.
Lifel1k3 by Jay Kristoff
I’m really excited to start reading Lifel1k3 and I also got the ARC for this book. Also, I can’t wait to read about dystopia, sci-fi androids with feelings!
Bring Me Their Hearts by Sara Wolf
So, the title Bring Me Their Hearts is awesome and I sorta like the blurb for it? I haven’t read any reviews for this book yet but I am hoping to read a few before reading it.
Smoke in the Sun by Renee Ahdieh
I read the first book, Flame in the Mist and while I wasn’t blown away by it, I really want to continue the story. I will probably need to reread the first book again because I can’t remember what happened in that book!
Royals by Rachel Hawkins
I met Rachel Hawkins at YallWest and I had this book signed. The idea of royals falling for someone who is a commoner really ticks one of my must read trope boxes!
Have you read any of these books yet?
What are the books on your summer TBR pile?
Great list! I love Sophie Jordan, but I haven’t read this one yet. I did enjoy Truth or Beard! Hope you enjoy! Here’s my TopTen: https://myendlessshelf.weebly.com/home/toptentuesday-books-to-read-by-the-poolat-the-beach
Oh, you should try her Devil’s Rock series! It’s really good!
I LOVE the Devil’s Rock series lol the only I haven’t read yet is the latest one but I love Knox and North *swoon*
Ahhh!!! Go and read it! There is a really nice teaser for the last book (I think) in the series!! And it’s going to be soooooo good!
Lol ok, ok, I will 🙂
Bring Me Their Hearts is on my list now after seeing soe good reviews!
I know, right?!!
Lifelike and Royals are also on my TBR!
Here’s my first ever TTT – https://goo.gl/CA2xZw
Oh good picks!!!

OMG! I almost cried yesterday, when I got approved for Josh and Hazel. I am so excited to read more Christina Lauren. Penny Reid is always great, and I am looking forward to the new Alyssa Cole too. The first book in that series was delightful. I have Royally Wed and it looks cute. I am thinking I will get to that one later in the year. Your last book, Royals, was a favorite of mine. It was so much fun, and I am eagerly anticipating the next book.
I hope so! I read her first Knitting in the City series and I didn’t like it. 🙁
I liked Smoke in the Sun, but not quite as much as Flame in the Mist. I probably would like to read Bring Me Their Hearts and LifeL1k3 at some point.
I don’t know what I’m reading this summer. Whatever sounds good at the time.

This was just an awesome exercise of listing things that I probably wouldn’t even read this summer! LOL I am a mood reader and really pick up books based on my mood!
