Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl

Happy Tuesday, Wormies! There are books that you just can’t wait to get your hands on. I’m pretty lucky than most since I receive ARCs from some of my favorite authors! Unfortunately, that also means that I STILL have to wait until I can purchase a physical copy of their books! Now, I normally don’t purchase physical books but for these, I am making an exception!
The Wicked and the Wallflower by Sarah MacLean (June 19, 2018)
This book is the first in a series that I am absolutely EXCITED to read! I have the eARC for this already and I’m currently reading it! Again, this book is a MUST for my historical romance collection!
The Duke Buys a Bride by Sophie Jordan (July 24, 2018)
This book is the last book in The Rogue Files series and I am super excited to read Marcus’ story! This is also another book that I can’t wait to have on my shelf!
The Governess Game by Tessa Dare (August 28, 2018)
The Duchess Deal was an amazing read and I can’t wait to read The Governess Game! I also love a good governess book! I am all for fun, light, and romantic HR, too!
For the Duke’s Eyes Only by Lenora Bell (September 18, 2018)
Bluestocking heroines are a particular fave of mine and I am super excited to dive deep into Lady India’s HEA! Also, we met her in What A Difference a Duke Makes and she is absolutely adorable AND wears britches!
Shades of Wicked by Jeaniene Frost (October 30, 2018)
I can’t wait for Ian’s story! OMG! This antihero stole the show in the last book of the Night Prince series Into the Fire, and I can’t wait to read this book so, so much!
Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J. Maas (October 23, 2018)
FINALLY! We get the last book in the Throne of Glass series and I am thankful that it is finally over! I mean, I thought it was over when I read Queen of Shadows, but this works, too!
Catwoman: Soulstealer by Sarah J. Maas (August 7, 2018)
This is written by Sarah J. Maas, too! I am super excited to delve deep into the DC Icons series and this one should be intriguing! While I thought Batman: Nightwalker wasn’t as good, I hope SJM will do it justice!
The World of Throne of Glass (October 2, 2018)
I am super excited to see more of the TOG world! Artwork and other goodies! Bonus points if there will be Chaol artwork! Eeep!
Contagion by Erin Bowman (July 24, 2018)
Another space book that I am excited to read YESTERDAY! OMG! I want more, more, more sci-fi space books sooo bad! This book has a feeling of Alien and I’m excited to read this!
Lifel1k3 by Jay Kristoff (May 29, 2018)
This is another sci-fi book, Lifel1k3 also involves an android and humans with powers IN SPACE! See the theme here? I am so into space battles and space book right now, you can’t even imagine!
Which books are you highly anticipating this year?
Any of the books on my list on yours?
I just had to read your list, since we have a bit in common, I love HR.PR and romance in general. SO I now want to get the new Sarah Maclean though I just ordered a few books from Amazon to add to my HR collection-I ordered another Lisa Kleypas-Scandal in Spring (I picked up Devil in Winter today!!), and Sabrina Jeffries The Art of Sinning!! Plus another Laura Griffin, as I have become a fan!! Also I had won a signed hardback copies of the Illuminae files which came with a booklet of Life Lik3!! So that’s a must also!!
Definitely, read Sarah MacLean and Lisa Kleypas! Her Wallflowers series is the best, but I actually love her older books! Try Again the Magic and Dreaming of You! For Sarah MacLean, read her Love by Numbers series AND The Rules of Scoundrels (has to be read in sequence). For Sabrina Jeffries, start with her Hellions of Halstead Hall, also recommended to be read in sequence!
Contagion and Lifelik3 *nods* both sound GREAT! And maybe Catwoman too- that just looks fun 🙂
